This mount gives you a few ways to securely connect boards, shields, and peripherals. Prints fast!The shape is simple and easy to modify in Sketchup. I made this to attach a Sharp IR sensor to an arduino+ethernet shield stack. The holes are 1/8 inch diameter, and I've been gently tapping each hole with a machine screw before installation...no problems so far!This will fail miserably if you use the default settings on a Makerbot :-(I had much better results when I selected the "High" quality setting in MakerWare (I'm using PLA on a Replicator Dual here at work).Want to modify it? I included a Sketchup file as well. You might want, for example, to replace the vertical holes (which make connections to the Arduino and a shield) with little nubbins that stick up, so that the stacking action of the shield holds the block in place...
