With a crash my front Ormerod1 linear bearing alerted me to a problem with the inner rubber seal. I added these Y carriage support brackets to either side of the Y carriage rib secured to the bearing with a M3 nut and bolt to secure them. It is just slightly squeezing the Y carriage rib, but it is meant to be able to move if forced. The profile is pulled off of the Y-carriage bearings from the Ormerod2. I use Slic3r 1.1.7 and push a stationary 3mm drill bit through the holes as per Reprap suggestions. This fits the Ormerod1 with the bolt towards the front and the Ormerod2 with the bolt towards the back, but I've only installed it on the Ormerod1 so far.
