This is a printed Gua Sha "stone" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gua_Sha Gua Sha is a Traditional Chinese method of deep tissue massage that can really help tired muscles and tendons feel better and heal faster. It feels similar to rubbing your lower legs after a long day in tight socks or boots. It is a deep tingly and satisfying sensation and can be applied to legs, arms and backs etc... use a small amount of oil or lotion to lubricate the skin, I use it in a fitness center steam room as well. This has a sharper and a softer side. With use and slight wear there are many different areas and degrees of edges on this print. I began using the softer sides but have been using the shaper edges now that my Gua Sha "stone" has worn down slightly. Having imported these stones from Hong Kong in the past, I prefer to create one at will locally instead, especially considering how much less energy is required.
