Radio-Themed Holiday Ornament Bring back memories of past Holidays with this radio-themed icosahedral ornament. (Can you say "Icosahedron" 20 times in a row after the egg-nog?) Inspired by Thingiverse #191925, it was created for the New Jersey Antique Radio Club party gift swap. It will be about 5" (12cm) diam. when printed full size. Print it at 80% for a smaller size. There are 20 radio pieces and one broadcast tower hanger piece to assemble. Enjoy!I created this in Autodesk123D, files included for remixing. Print three copies of 8xRadioball.stl and one Radiotower.stl. The ball assembly takes 20 pieces. The hook pieces fit together giving circular groups of 5. The star supports are a bit delicate. Use a small dab of superglue to hold the hooks together during assembly. I used superglue curing agent as well for instant bonding. The tower hanger piece hooks into the base of the radio speaker grill area. Bend it a bit to fit it in. My print settings: ABS plastic, 20% infill, 0.2mm layers It can be shrunk to 80%, but the hooks may fail if made much smaller. Best Holiday Wishes! N2GX
