I originally tried something that mounts on the fan, which is a little easier to install. However, at low z-heights it was just too close to the print and was hiding it, instead of lighting it (but it did give the boro glass edge a cool glow! :). This one mounts higher, so it lights the print surface more evenly.Uses an 80mm 12V LED ring such as this one. Suitable for the "stock" effector and fan shroud. I print all these pieces in ABS (for heat resistance), and I just acetone-weld the headlamp mount to the fan shroud. Clearances tested only with "stock" configuration (J-head and 40x40x10mm fan). Ring orientation. Note the location of the wire solder point indentation, and insert LED ring accordingly, for a flush fit. If you use a different ring, you may have to edit the source (included STL has indentations for chip resistors and wire solder point of the linked, 24-LED ring).
