For years I've been testing two-lead components using alligator clips, paperclips, gripping them with my fingers to the test probes, etc.... ENOUGH!!! Here's a slick little build that you can quickly clip your test probes into when measuring two-lead components (I'm usually measuring thermistor output, resistors, testing capacitors, sensors, etc.). I had all the parts on hand but nothing is too expensive or hard to get. I've included a bill of materials....BOM Red and Black pin jacks such as Pomona 3542-0, -2 (Mouser 538-3542-0, 538-3542-2) Molex Shell 08-65-0816 Mouser 538-08-65-0816 Molex Terminals 08-65-0816 Mouser 538-08-65-0816 WirePrinted on Replicator 2 using High res profile with: Infill: 100% Shells: 2 Layer: 0.2mm Temp: 235 Extrude: 100 mm/s Travel: 150 mm/sDrill the hexagonal holes out to 1/4". Clean up the rectangular opening and make sure the Molex housing is a good snug fit (it will seat through from the outside so that the latch stops on the outside of the case. Solder wires to the pin jacks and install in the box. Crimp the Molex terminals on the other end and press them into the Molex housing. Press the bottom onto the box, guiding the wires into the terminal support slots. Wonder why you didn't do this a long time ago....
