Nikon 1 V1 mode dial can be accidentally moved out of position in normal use. This cover will keep the user from unitentionally rotating the selector dial. It is intended to be applied to the camera with high tack contact tape. Recommend 3M High Tack Acrylic contact tape in 1/2" width. Place tape on contact surface and trim excess. Press firmly in place for several minutes until set.This is a fairly small part, so be sure to print at the finest resolution settings. There is one flat surface at 10 degrees off it's normal plane (as shown) that can be rotated to sit flat on the print bed surface. This will allow for a better print without support material. As with any 3D printed part, sanding with 320-600 grit wet and dry sandpaper is necessary to provide a smooth surface. Be sure to sand the underside as well so that the bonding tape will have maximum adhesion.
