Just playing around with the new Creator software from Simplify3D. They have an image to STL add-in that can create some pretty amazing 3D content from flat 2D images.I printed mine using a 0.25mm layer height with zero infill. Sliced with the integrated Simplify3D slicer since that's what I made the model with.
