A simple case for enclosing my printrbot 1401. After looking that temperature shifts and other thing were affecting my prints. I came up with this case, Woody Woodpecker... (since the printer its made of wood) I tried to make a complete case where I can have my tools, the power supply, filament, all in one. I Added a power socket as to control the power I added some things from thingiverse: Spool Holder. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:17526) Extruder Motor fan mount. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:314273) Thermomether Holder. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:731976) Filament Filter. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067) Hinges (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:19522) z-axis knob. (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:87175) Other elements I used: Door handle. Fused Socket. *Adhesive Rubber bumps. To be added: Better Spool Holder. Toolbox. Here are the sizes and ammounts: 2 x (35cmx40cm) 2 x (44cmx40cm) 2 x (35cmx44cm) Is completely made out of 3mm acrylic. I must say, the tricky part is get the "perfect" cube when glueing the sides. I Used my own 90 degree guides (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:792387) for that, and even using them, I could not get the perfect cube. I added the only STL here, as to give some structure on the front since the door completely opens and gives no structure. Some magnets could be used to holde the door. Comments are welcome.
