Cover that integrates the FPV 5.8 GHz 32CH RC832 receiver board into the body of the Quanum DIY FPV Goggle Set with Monitor (KIT).This mod requires the RC832 be removed from the original case and power and video lines be directly soldered to the board. Likewise for the LCD display. To complete assembly you will also need: 4 x M3*20mm Button Head Hex Socket Cap Screws 4 x M3*10?5 Knurled Nuts (or any M3 nut) Ream out the cover screw holes with a 1/8" drill bit. Do not ream out the screw holes on the frame. The RC832 board should press-fit onto the standoffs. Once the antenna nut is in place, a drop of hot-melt (or CA) glue on the posts should hold the board in place. For the frame, thread and gently tighten four M3*20mm button head screws in and affix to the back of the cover using M3 nuts to secure it. Glue the frame to the goggle exterior and clamp lightly to dry. The sprue legs in the center of the frame are to assist with alignment while gluing the frame, and can be trimmed once the glue is dry, in order to allow the goggle body halves to separate. I chose to place pigtails with connectors on each device, and constructed a custom power splitter cable with JST ends. Note that the cover has a zip-tie hold down point for the power cable.
