A (loose) interpretation of Totoro from Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro. Inspired by a friend's sketch.Printed on my Replicator: 100 micron resolution. External Support (Might work without any support, but I haven't tried it) A cool trick I did on a couple of these is I paused it at around 25% and added some iron filings, both to give it some heft and to add a cool sound when you shake it :). I got the idea when the support structures failed (but not the print itself), and the printer started knocking small bits of filament into the infill. I haven't had enough time to try the acetone vapor bath method for finishing, but that's definitely in the future for this print!
