I wanted to design a foot so I could raise my Mendel off the desk, without having to take it apart. I came up with what I like to call the Elephant Foot. I think it looks a lot like one. I eventually want to come up with a leveling foot that is all one piece but for now I will stick with this.Download the file and print four of them. Optional:I used a 1/4-20 x 3/4" machine screw and nut that I screwed in from the top that will allow you to level your Mendel. Simply adjust the height of each screw until the machine is level.I cut out a 1/4" thick neoprene gasket with adhesive backing that I stuck to the bottom of each foot to help with vibration. I also have a 1/4" thick piece of neoprene on the bottom of each frame vertex.
