I really liked Aubenc's OpenSCAD thread library, and have used it for a number of projects. I also loved the threaded chunky bracelet - it is a great 3D conversation piece. I've aways talked about making a bolt to fit it so that we had a place to "store" a couple, but never got around to it! So finally - here it is! ;-) But wait - there's more! For a limited time I've included a 30mm threaded "top" for the bolt, which allows you to create a sealed container using your bracelet to store all your important things! Print, screw, enjoy! The bolt is designed to match the thread pattern and diameter of Aubenc's original Beautiful Chunkey Bracelet, and since we are not aiming for the ultimate in strength, the threadform and shaft are scaled down by .01% to make it easy to screw your bracelet on and off without wearing the threads. I sliced with slic3r 0.9.10-dev, and the photos are of one printed in red translucent PLA at .2mm layer height.
