Downtown here in Sioux Falls is the First National Bank. By it's main entrance are a set of limestone panels of a Native American woman and man. They were part of the original decoration of the bank when it opened a larger building downtown in May, 1929. Luckily they were salvaged when the old bank building was torn down during a misguided "urban renewal" phase that swept America in the 1960s-1970s. They are a popular backdrop for people to pose with.On the spur of the moment, I snapped a series of photos of this panel using my Pentax K-01 in RAW format to ensure the maximum information available to use in recreating it via Agisoft Photoscan. After importing all the photos to Adobe Lightroom and correcting and matching all the exposures, I exported the RAW photos as 200ppi JPG images and imported them into Photoscan. Since I set the desired output to 'High' this project took about 12 hours from start to finish overnight. I still see minor issues with the resulting model, but aside from the need to make it solid for printing, I think it should be acceptable for casual use.
