Hi, I'm a model boat funs come from china, you can call me vcbear,8-) I have designed a Paddle Boat with 3D printed parts, 3D printing saves me a lot of time on the part production, so , I'd like to share my boat part with all of you. This is my second prototype because the other ones had some issues when assemble it. Just ask if you have any question! I got the idea to build a Paddle boat this year for a workshop which organized at “mushroomcloud”. “mushroomcloud” is a well-known makespace in shanghai. china I used Autodesk 2012 and sketchup8 for the design , my printer was the Overlord from DFRobot, It may took around 2-3 days to print the parts. The hull is not printed because it would take way too long. So in the first prototype i designed it by Autodesk 2012 ,export to dxf file and get laser cut structure parts. The boat is driven by two paddle which connected to two TT motors. The power for the motors comes from a 10000 mAh Lipo Mobile power from xiaomi. The MCU of the boat is BLUNO, it's a Bluetooth 4.0 Micro-controller Compatible with Arduino Uno, then I plug a 2A Motor Shield for paddle control.
