This was a quasi-random polygonal shape I threw together in 123D to show off some translucent filaments we'd gotten, a kind of sample catalog. There are two GCode files, both compiled with a Makerbot in mind. One of them is set to try the spiral vase setting, where the Z-axis moves in a continuous motion while the extruder attempts to lay down filament without seams. It's not especially practical, but it does look really cool. Drafted in 123D using sketches and the loft tool.
