This is a pneumatic extrusion based 3D printer designed specifically for printing clay and other paste materials, remixed from the exceptional work done by Jonathan Keep, Unfold, and models by Oliver Reinecke. Specific remixes: Scaled up to a 235mm diameter x 425mm height print volume (uses 36 inch 12mm bearing rods and 12 inch aluminum connecting rods). Uses Uxcell (about 300cc) cartridges for the clay (better availability in the States, cost). See the file Uxcell_Cartridge_Holder.stl Includes a BOM with links to vendors (lots of eBay and Amazon) and includes total cost (as of 19 August 2015). Includes stl files for a modular printer center that can switch between Uxcell cartridges and a bowden extruder (modular_center.stl, Uxcell_Cartridge_insert.stl, Bowden_insert.stl). The bowden extruder is a WIP. Includes 3dm and dxf files for the CNC parts. Includes the Marlin firmware specific to this build, as well as a starting config file for Slic3r.
