Inspired by the game 'Coconuts', I wanted to see if I could make my own monkey from scratch. Created solely in Sketch-Up. ==UPDATE== It seems that too many rubber bands or excessive use can lead to his head falling off! To eliminate this I am redesigning the join so it is more robust. I have also improved the throwing angle to be more vertical, and made the hands more cupped to hold the projectile's better. The fixed models are suffixed with v2. Note, due to printer issues I have been unable to test v2, so let me know if there are any issues. Print out the 3x parts. Clean up the axle and slot so it pivots smoothly. Insert 1-2 rubber bands through the holes in the bottom, fish them out with a small screwdriver or hook and clip them over the hook on the arms. Slot the head on (I had to clean up the top surface to ensure the head slots on properly). Print out some ammunition and some target cups (or find something suitable), and FLING!
