I used the concept of Thingiverse for a benefit performance, more info here:http://namazueshirt.wordpress.com/the-mission/Viral charity, but it's hard to spread the idea of Creative Commons License + Crowdfunding for benfit.My vector software does not support .ai and gives rather odd results if I convert files in .wmf. But every vector software should be able to extract the vector data from the .pdf. There might be some unnecessary knots, but these are easy to delete. The operator at your local copy / textile print shop will do it in no time at least. The original vector will slow down the plotter a little bit, but has no visible effect on the result. Flex or Flock print is recommanded.PS: You can convert Namazu in every item you can think of.
