UPDATE I have just made a new change to the fan duct so than when screwed into place they sit further from the build plate. I noticed that the corners had a possible tendency to touch the plate. May need some filing to fit. Part cooling upgrading for printing better bridges and overhangs. This is a remix of the TechsupportGo's mount with some minor changes to the design, and to the print itself. The REAR shroud has been cut shorter so that none of the plastic comes into contact with the heater block. (on my printer it is the front shroud, because of how it have it setup...) As a result your part is not slowly destroying itself by melting on the heater block as you print, especially with high temp filaments. See instructions for printing recommendations and hardware list. Ok for the prints. The 40x10 part is the most important to look out for, I printed it NOT out of PLA but out of PET+. ABS or nylon would be good too. This part comes into contact with the heat sink so it will have to cope with high heats, too much heat to print out of PLA. Print it on a 50% infill with 3-4 shells. Each of the different shrouds CAN be printed from PLA. I used 3 shells on 50% infill. SCREWS You will need four 1 inch #6 sheet metal screws, and four of the exact same screws except 1.25 inch rather that 1. You can find them at your local hardware store. Fans 2 12v 40x40x20mm case fans. You'll want some that will reach a speed 8200-9000 RPM. I got mine on amazon here.... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006ODM76C?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01 ASSEMBLY Should be self explanatory. You will have to take off the existing fan carriage, and replace it with the part you're printed. See my pictures for reference BUT NOTE; my heater block is turned 180 degrees which will not be the case on your printer. So on your printer (given the heater block is in its stock position) the longer shroud duct will go on the front and the shorter one on the back. If you're reading this and it makes no since, you should understand as soon as you're putting it on the printer. OPTIONAL For a more finished look you can also purchase two fan gills to place over the open ends of the fans.
