Just a nice little chassis for a small tank with various scavenged parts. I used parts I got of ebay, a local fleamarket and a cheap toy boat for the transmitter and receiver. Also good to use with different electronics or as a robot platform. http://youtu.be/FrUpXXnwqTk to see it driving for a bit. Currently I am designing a tank with a proper RC remote, two 400 rpm motors, and ESC's and threads I bought from aliexpress and smaller bearings. But awaiting the parts for it.Parts list: I ripped the toy boat apart en cut of the motorpod so I got 4 wires dangling from a 4 x 4 cm electronics board with an antenna and 2 wires (one with switch) for the battery. Print both chassis parts and glue them together. I used hotglue. Next drill the axle hole for the M8 rod and screw it in and lock it in place with two nuts. Print the front wheels and push in the 4 608 bearing and put them on the M8 rod at both sides and put nuts on it to lock them in place. Do not over tighten or you'll bind the bearings. Print the engine clamp and drill out the holes with a 4 mm drill. Next drill the holes in the back of the chassis with a 3 mm drill. Print the 18650 battery holder twice, drill out the holes with a 3 mm drill put in the M3 screws with the head on the inside and a nut on the outside. Connect two terminals at one end together and use the terminals at the other end as a + and - connector and connect the wires with the M3 nuts. Put in the cells and be careful not to blow them up because the polarity is wrong ;) Apply a bunch of rubber bands to keep the battery holder closed. (It's ugly but it'll work, it ain't called lazy one for nothing) Solder the wires onto the electric motors and hook up your power supply for a test. Put the couplers on the motors and the printed drive wheels onto the couplers. Then add the threads to it and it is time to test while both the lids are printing. (where I am now) The lids don't properly fit at the moment. These need some work yet. :)
