It's a pump, that looks like a house! ... Ok that wasn't all too funny I admit. But it really is a tiny pump made for your aquarium! All you have to do is connect one air line to it and then another tube to move water wherever you want. In the tank, to a filter, or onto somebody! It looks sort of cozy and I've arranged a few in different sizes to look like a village. So far no shrimps have been sucked up into it but the one I'm using is also very small. I use mine to lift water up to a gravel filter in a pet bottle and it works quite well after a month. The hose got a bit clogged up but that's to expect from regular 4mm air tubes. As I worked with this in autodesk I'm sorry to say that it's not scaled properly. It didn't matter much to me as the M3D has no way of measuring your prints either so I had to guess. This did however force me to experiment a bit with different designs and here's what I came up with: You want to have the thing stand tall and quite thin. The limitations of using a 4mm hose is that you can't trap enough air to lift the water high enough if the bell is too flat. Making it thin and tall also makes the hose connectors a bit more universal as they are tapered and thickens further down. You could make the thing big enough to hold the tubes outside diameter inside the holes as well. I also noticed that you want excess air for almost all setups, at least with the 4mm hose. If the tube gets clogged with dirty water the bell will just spew air out the intake so instead I tried to keep the water in the tube to a minimum. Of course, a bigger bell will alleviate this problem. It'll also need a weight at the bottom, or if it's big enough something inside to weight it down like rocks or course gravel.
