A warm welcome to our 3D Hub!
Our aim is to offer you a personalised professional 3D printing service for the best price possible.
We run a total of 8 3D Desktop printers and which include 1x BigBOX, 1x BOXZY, 1x IRA3D Poetry, 1x Mod-t, 1x MakerBot Replicator 2X, 1x Delta and 2x Wanhao Duplicator 4 so no order is too large! Please feel free to contact us if you have a Bulk/larger or business order. We have experience for large and rapid Prototype projects.
Before you get started, please note that the printers we use employ the FDM technique. which means they stack layer upon layer of plastic material, starting from the bottom of the platform. Which means you will get the best results with straight or pyramid shape objects. Complex objects can be printed but there is the possibility that more pre-production work and additional support material may be required. However you can contact us at 3dhubs@3dfilaprint.com and we will be more than happy to discuss your requirements in more detail.
Rest assured we will handle your project in the strictest of confidence and will sign NDA’s if required.
As for materials, we are the UK’s No. 1 Filament providers, with 4 years filament handling experience and a wide range of materials.
Our default settings for printing are:
-0.1 MM Layer Height (Can be change on request);
-0.8mm shell thickness (or depends on the print/object needs);
-20 percent infill( or best suited for the print);
Any settings that are different might lead to higher costs, we'll let you know.
You can choose from filaments that are specially designed for engineering, automotive, medical use, materials which have been classed as food safe within the USA (FDA approved), biodegradable or Anti-Bactericidal.
Alternatively if you are looking for design work we can offer you’re the very best. Our design team have years of experience in using design tools such as Z-Brush, Blender, Openscad, Solidworks and 3D studio Max.
