About me

I run a MarkForged Onyx One FDM printer. It is an engineering grade printer and I primarily cater towards end use production parts. The material selection is limited to MarkForged Onyx, which is a Nylon with chopped Carbon Fiber.

I am also able to provide engineering and design services and guarantee printability on my machines.

I have worked as an Applications Engineer and Concept Designer for the last 5 years in the additive manufacturing (3D printing) space producing hundreds of designs for clients in the aerospace sector (Northrup Grumman, Boeing, Airbus), automotive (BMW, Ferrari), consumer goods (GoodBaby, Trek), and many others currently under NDA.

PRINTER:
The Onyx One prints stiff and dimensionally stable engineering grade parts with twice the strength of other 3D printed plastics. Onyx parts have beautiful surface finish and are suitable for industrial applications.


MATERIAL:
Onyx is a chopped fiber filament offering exceptional stiffness and dimensional stability. Using Onyx creates strong and beautiful 3D printed products with the reliability you have come to expect from MarkForged created products.

Onyx can stand a heat deflection of 145 Degrees Celsius while combining the toughness of nylon with the strength of carbon fiber.
