About me

I run Wanhao Duplicator I3 with a maximum layer resolution of 0.06mm for extreme detail with an FDM machine. I design all my models inside of Fusion 360 and enjoy designing things that solve problems or provide additional function to an existing solution. As an avid hiker and outdoorsman I run PLA plastic in my machines mostly because it is strong and durable, yet lightweight and environmentally friendly being derived from corn. That means that when you are done with a part or it has outlived it's lifespan and is sent to a landfill it won't be around when you great grandkids are here. However I can run just about any material through my machines. So if you need a part with particular properties just ask and you shall receive. But unless otherwise directed all parts will be printed with PLA plastics. I will remove any support material on your part for you before shipping out parts, however finishing processes will be left up to you as the consumer.

What have I been up to lately?

I enjoy designing parts for hiking and helping people get outdoors. I just recently designed a hammock ridgeline media hook system for watching movies and TV shows while out in the woods.

Last Week Recap

I designed a spacer with an attached GoPro Mount for a Boosted Board electric skateboard for a friend. This was a load bearing part printed with a 10% infill and installed it onto the board. Testing went flawlessly and I will be releasing the files onto thingiverse soon for anyone that would like to download and print them.
