About me
I have been working with 3D printers for awhile now and have worked on all sorts of printers, ranging from a Makerbot Replicator 2X to the XYZ Printing Da Vinci 1.0 and will be obtaining a 2.0 soon.
The pricing on this site is fairly broken, Like Mike in Ankeny Iowa, I go by hour rather than by material as well. I charge a $7 start up rate with and added $6 an hour for .2mm layers (generally pretty good for most prints) in ABS, and soon PLA on my Da Vinci. I charge $8 an hour for .1mm layers in ABS, PLA. I will soon offer Dual Color and Disolvable Support prints once I add a Dual Head to my printer .
Generally part quality on the Da Vinci is good enough at this level for most applications, and it offers a great Value per print.
