Professional Engineer. 3D printing since 3/12.
My Replicator has been upgraded so much that it's really not the same printer anymore, and prints much better than it did 'out-of-the-box'. Prints are done in a controlled heated chamber which eliminates issues with printing tall ABS objects.
Cost per cm3 is a poor measurement of cost. My estimate will also be based upon required layer height, adjustments that have to be made to the model (supports, segmenting, repair), and any CAD work that may be necessary to produce a printable mode.
