About me

I currently work as a freelance designer, mainly 3D character and 2D GUI work. I have been 3D modelling for over 10 years, and 3D printing now for just over 2 years. 3D printing for me is like the thing I never knew I was born to do. For me, it ties in years of programming, art , software, hardware and mechanical experience and let's you focus them all in one incredibly sharp laser beam. I am a Sci-Fi fan, I love my movie props and busts, so if you have specific busts or props you want made, just ask. I have made many things, but I have not posted all of them publicly, as some were comissions for people, but my free designs and resculpts can be found on thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/Geoffro/designs

I also love painting models, and I do not charge for it. All my coloured prints here are hand painted with Acrylics, no airbrushing. If you want something in colour, I add it for free, it's something I enjoy doing.

I built my Kossel and Prusa, and have calibrated them to as fine as they will go. I didn't jump on the wagon and buy a printer yesterday, I bought a flashforge in 2012, got to know it inside and out, then I built my others when I understood what needed to be done to improve my prints and printing speeds, layer bonding etc.

If we want to get techy, the lowest I can print safely is 0.1mm. Although the Delta is capable of going lower, I cannot guarantee all the different colour's of filament will go lower than that (white for example can print finer than a bright colour dye) so far the best I can push from my filament tolerance and guarantee it is 0.1mm layer height.

I keep a very large amount of filament on hand, so all the colours I advertise are usually here and often more than I could list here.
