I've been 3D printing since 2012. I built my machine from scratch so I know the greater intricacies of how the machine works and how to get you the best object quality.
There are a number of parameters to consider, though not required, when submitting a request.
PLASTIC - PLA is preferred in most cases. PLA is a bioplastic made from corn. It is very rigid and has a tough surface but has a low softening temp of 80c
ABS - Legos are mad of this plastic. It can withstand higher temperatures but can warp greatly when printing and is easily scratched.
Other plastics are available. please inquire if interested in specialties.
COLOR - there are many colors to choose from. Any standard color is available. plastics can also be opaque or translucent
DENSITY - models can be made less dense to use less plastic. this makes your model weigh less as well as reduce material volume and print time.
SHELL THICKNESS - the thickness of the outer surfaces. thicker surfaces make a model more sturdy but add to material use and weight. transparent filaments work well with thin walls making parts more translucent
SCALE - optional - 3D printed parts can be scaled up or down from the submitted file size. See the picture of 4 canisters for example. they are all from the same file.
models can be optimized for the 3D printing manufacturing process. If a model is submitted that may print better with modification I will offer suggestions.

Every aspect of working with Kevin has been good. Good communication, good skills, timely job completion, reasonable price. I couldn't ask for more other than to continue working with him through this second project and on to a third. He has been flexible and able to address some complexities in my large print projects. This was my first 3D printing project. I'm extremely pleased with Kevin. The print quality was excellent, his communication was very good and the project done promptly. In addition his cost seemed very reasonable. I can't imagine buying a 3D printer when Kevin does it so much better for such a reasonable cost. My drawing wasn't adequate, so he even helped tidy up the drawing. Highly recommended. I'll be back with my next project!
