I'm Chase, an aerospace engineering with 26 years of aircraft production and support experience plus multiple product development side projects. I have been running a 3D printed specialty tool business since November, 2017.

I use my Stratasys F120 for quickly making injection mold quality ABS-M30 parts and tools with soluble supports, resulting in high quality separation surfaces. Available layer heights are .007", .010" and .013" for better resolution or better layer strength and speed. ABS-M30 is considerably stronger than "hobby grade" ABS. You can have any color you want as long as it's black. The soluble supports add material volume beyond the part's build volume but costs the same as the build material. I use my Markforged Mark Two for stronger applications that require internal continuous carbon fiber reinforced parts. The outer material is Onyx, which is a chopped carbon fiber reinforced nylon with a rubbery feel to it. Again, you can have any color you want as long as it's black. The separable supports add material volume beyond the part's build volume but costs the same as the build material.

Spanner pins on tools are tapped into interference fit diameter holes using depth gages.

I can do 3D modeling for reasonably complex parts and tools and other applications but complex surfaces like fictional characters and statues aren't my specialty. I can easily print models that you provide, of course.
