About me
My name is Rik and I live in the Netherlands, I really love 3D printing, I have obtained a lot of knowledge about 3D printing and i am happy to share that.
My 3D printer arsenal at the moment only consists of a modified Ender 3.
My modified Ender 3:
My Ender 3 is outfitted with a high quality linear rail on the Y axis paired with a geniune Hiiwin Linear rail block MGN12H. The hotend setup currently is outfitted with a All metal hotend and geniune Captricorn tubing. The extruder is metal and is currently single drive, but I am planing on making it Dual drive and Geared.
Recent projects (19-4-2020):
MPCNC:
I am working on a custom Mostly printed CNC setup. The CNC will be a bit smaller then most machines and will run a MKS Sgen L which is a 32-bit mainboard perfect for my application. The board will run a customized version of marlin 2.0.5.1 which will allow me to fully controll the spindle Digitally. I am going to use TMC2209 stepper drivers, these are better then the TMC2208 because they will make the stepper motor less hot and will allow the motor to take more torque.
