About me

We are a small basement operation of 2 friends who have been working with 3D printing for about 3 years now. Zero Endpoint Racing is our R/C Car part brand and our main focus. Between the two of us we have over 30 years experience in Remote control vehicles; everything from boats, cars, planes, and even helicopters quad/hexa/octo -copters and FPV aerial camera platforms.

We have had the honor (if you want to call it that) of having our designs taken without our permission and sold numerous times by many sellers on eBay and even Local Motors took our licensed designs off Thingiverse and distributed them with the Latrax Rally car for a short time (before we spoke with them) and we may be working with them in the future.

We have (2x) Makerbot Replicator 2 printers and (1x) Makerbot Replicator 2X. We have an extensive library of parts we have designed in-house and no volume is too small or too large. If the project/quantity requires more than 300 machine hours we can always get another printer :)

As far as design licensing goes all designs submitted to us directly will remain confidential. If you contract us to design (CAD) something for you that design is yours once paid for, we do not retain your design for any purpose other than a backup on a RSA 256 encrypted thumb drive. While most projects will not require any legal forms from us we have no problem signing confidentiality agreements if you desire.

Our Resolutions, Printers, and Filaments:

We offer 100, 200, & 300 Micron resolutions however 200 is the most popular and honestly our favorite for finish and durability.

Makerbot Replicator 2:
The workhorses of our operation, We can run both of them 24hrs a day and not worry about a failure, after using many printers we have gone back to the Rep 2 time and time again for dependability and quality prints.

Makerbot Replicator 2X dual print head:
We can offer dual color prints of certain items however it does not allow for dissolve-able support which is our main purpose for this machine. Especially for intricate models/projects otherwise impossible to print at a reasonable cost. We do not use this machine much as it requires a lot of setup and coding preparation.

We can print in PLA, PET+, FDM Wood filament, NinjaFlex flexible filament, & if absolutely necessary ABS (we prefer not to use ABS as it is not at all environmentally friendly)

Most of our PLA filament is made by Deltamaker, our PET+ is from MadeSolid, NinjaFlex is from NinjaFlex, and we also have some Zen Toolworks specialty PLA like glow in the dark and Wood filaments.

We use both ReplicatorG and Makerware for Gcode generation.

We will price the projects on a case by case basis but here is a general guideline, chances are we can make it for less:

PLA Plastic $ 0.75 / cm³ White, Black, Silver, Blue, Clear, Red, Tan, Green, Purple, Brown, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Grey, Gold

Wood $ 2 / cm³ Brown

Flexible Plastic $ 2 / cm³ White, Black, Blue, Red, Green, Pink, Yellow, Orange

PET Plastic $ 2 / cm³ White, Black, Blue, Clear, Red, Green, Grey
