About me
I use a Makerbot Replicator 2. I do most of my prints on 0.2mm resolution but have done some on 0.1mm resolution. I'm more comfortable with 0.15 mm resolution. I have more colors of PLA than this site listed, including several shades of green and blue, glow in the dark green, etc.
I don't like the charging per cm^3 method that MakeXYZ suggests because objects are printed mostly hollow so cm^3 has no relation to material used or time to print. I like to base my price on grams of material used ($0.30 / g) and this usually comes out cheaper than the /cm^3 price.
The MakerWare software is available for anyone to download and you can use it to preview your parts and see an estimate of the amount of material used.

He didn't feel comfortable with his first print (even though the quality was great) and printed another copy to his standards at no extra charge. there were some issues with getting the settings right on the printer but i wasn't charged extra for it and the product held close tolerances for multiple parts being assembled together to hold liquids.
