Working in tidal pools and amongst rocks with my new GARRETT ATX inspired me to created some protection on the rear end for this hardy machine. This scuff guard is designed to protect the back end of the Garrett ATX. It covers the speaker and has holes for the on/off switch and the head phone connector. Both can be used with the scuff guard in place. The scuff guard sits tightly in place so does not require any further fastening. Further work may be to put mounts on for a sling attachment which I am thinking about. I've included the Inventor ipt file should you wish to make changes like creating slots for the speaker. I haven't, because I'd like to keep as much grime out of the speaker as possible.All files are included for 3D printing, you can use either the .stl or .thing files. Printed perfectly in one go on the Makerbot Replicator 2. Maybe somebody could try in ABS
