NOT WORKING YET. The mouth piece needs work. I drew this because I wanted to see if I could make one that worked right off the line without modification. My initial print was prematurely interrupted, and the one currently printing (pictured) had two belts loose so it slipped, but otherwise it prints well, even with the severe overhang. I'm using a printrbot Simple Makers edition. Update: I realized upon completion of the print that I forgot the part that directs the air onto the blade. the files have been updated and a test print is under way. designed in autocad, I drew the basic shape flat, extruded, chamfered, cloned and scaled the inside, then rounded the inside out. (I for the moment have forgotten the command that is with chamfer) then I added the mouthpiece, extruded that to the same height, chamfered again, rounded the outside, and put the whistle in. the last bit was adding the finger holes. to print, I set the rotation to x:89.999998 y:67.500017 z:45 the scale is 1.6, and it was imported in inches.
