Printable version of the Liberator, the spaceship from Blakes 7. The finished model is 435mm (17 inches) long. The biggest part is about 110mm, so should fit on a lot of common printers.Print one of each of the four fuselage parts, two green globe sections and three each of the four nacelle parts and struts. 21 parts in all plus 12 small and 19 large pins. Print the green globes in green or paint them before assembly. There are over 60 hours of printing here and the material used is estimated at nearly 500 grams, so be prepared! I glued mine together with superglue, except the spikes that are left loose because they are fragile and may need replacing every now and then! All the parts are rotated to the best print position in the STL files, they worked fine on my UP! in ABS with default settings and lowest density fill. There are two stand designs included, one 3D printed and the other laser cut. Tweak the slot widths on the laser version to match your acrylic thickness, it was drawn at 3.2mm. I have not tried the 3D printed one yet.If you have trouble printing the long spikes, you could use cotton bud sticks, they are about the right size and can be easily trimmed to the right length.
