This scad file is design to allow building of customized clips for the plastic clippard air tanks used on FRC robots. <<< CAUTION >>>>> Certain model s of the white plastic tanks available to FRC teams have been known to explode if not mounted and handled correctly. At least one of these explosions was due to a hose clamp used for mounting being over tightened. As a precaution always insert the tank by sliding one end in versus snapping down through the clip. Also, different printers may have different tolerances and may print these smaller than designed which may put stress on the tank. Measure before you insert. <<< End Caution >>> The idea is you can vary the base to offset the tank from center, also put holes for bolts in different place, and vary the thickness and height based on your needs. Finally you can string several together and make a holder for multiple tanks. The three tank holder shown just barely fits on my prusa I3 if rotated (see the plated STL file) TODO: Need to make more modular so that it is easy to create a 1,2, or 3 tank holder without major edits. So I print this with 3-4 shells and 40% infill. In the scad the two big things to change are the height, to create a wider holder and the inside diameter to fit your specific tank. The 3 tank model needs to be rotated 40 degrees and then moved to fit on my 8" prusa I3 build plate. Also, don't know why yet but the STL files from openscad need to be repaired (non-manifold) in NetFabb studio.
