From the 1960s classic Gerry Anderson series. Based on a model by Hans De Ridder at http://grabcad.com/library/thunderbird1. I split it into several pieces to improve printability. I printed this with supports, assembled with superglue, and painted with acrylics. 2016/1/26 Update: The main body and wings have been smoothed and optimized for printing. An alternate version with built-in support is also provided.I've printed this twice, once at 100% size, 10% infill, and once at 60% size, 0% infill. Both worked well when sliced with Makerware and printed on a Replicator 2 in PLA. The wings can be made to pivot by drilling a 1.75mm hole in each wing housing, then inserting a small piece of filament through the hole in the wing.
