UPDATE 19-07: After I realized that my "ventilator" is actually good at transforming wind to mechanical energy, I decided to print a "bearing" of sorts to test exactly how good. The print quality of the wheel isn't that great, since then I've changed to ABS (NuNus Blue). I made two new parts, a hex interface and a simple bracket to hold the assembly. I've added the files in case someone wants to try it. Next step will a small gearbox, just for the fun of it. UPDATE 17-07: So the part printed this morning, sadly while I was working late last night I've flipped the fin direction, so it'll move air only when turning left. Throughput isn't great, but I suppose if it's in a casing it'll compensate. I'll try to make a better version this weekend. A small side project for my neighbor, who got a small desktop cooler from a magazine. Just going to try and make it better. Much more info and designs to follow
