In 2008 I made the first tree of this kind, and always wanted to upload it. The idea behind is to have more than 2 pieces slotted together and finally to obtain something closer to a real tree. For that the tips is to divide the height to have as many sections as used panels : 6 in this case, resulting in larger notches corresponding to the thickness/angle of the accumulation of panels. This tree may also serve to hang little jewelry :)To build your mini-christmas-tree, just stack the panel from 1 to 6.The attached files are made to be cut from 2mm material and is 150mm tall (stl's added for those who want to print it).The second set of files is for the more common 3mm thickness of acrylic. Allowing to use almost every materials of Ponoko ^^ (where you can also find a prepared blueprint : http://www.ponoko.com/design-your-own/products/6924)I may add the first 240mm version later :)
