This case is the first part of a larger project to clean up the wiring on my MendelMax. It contains the RAMPS and an 80mm computer fan. It has a D-Sub 37 pin connector mounted to the side that pins out every wire on the MendelMax. There is a D-Sub mount for the frame that plugs directly into the side of the enclosure. You can mount it either outside the frame as shown, or inside if your y-axis allows it. This is still a work in progress.Still a work in progress. I will have a wiring diagram with wire lengths and routing coming soon. The basic goal is to wire every wire on the machine to a single D-Sub 37 pin connector mounted somewhere convenient on the frame, then wire the ramps internally to another 37-pin connector on the case. This keeps the electronics nice and clean and self contained. An 80mm computer fan is provided for cooling. The case and mount can be placed anywhere on the machine that you prefer. I'm going to put mine under the y-table.I'll update the files in the coming days as I print the parts and begin re-wiring everything.
