This model was inspired by the famous Peggy's Cove lighthouse in Nova Scotia. I split it into four parts due to the limited dimensions on my printer. Looks great in front of our house!I printed the three pieces that make up the base in white PLA and glued them together. The top cover was in red PLA. I printed two copies of the LED holders inside the top portion for two LEDs using glow-in-the-dark filament. This keeps it glowing for a short period of time after the LEDs turn off. The wiring to the LEDs travels through the base and out to an external solar panel (taken from a standard solar lighting system), All layers were 0.1mm in size. I printed it half-scale due to my printer limitations, I think it could be printed full-scale on a printer capable of a 8" x 8" x 8" model.
