This may only be usable as a reference part, but I thought I would upload it anyway. The 1/16" steel cable on my car door latch had elongated making opening the door impossible. I created this part to effectively shorten the usable length of the cable. It uses a 3M screw, nylon bolt and a locking washer to secure it to the steel cable. It worked beautifully. Using this part may not work for everyone (or even anyone) due to length requirements for your individual situation. Enjoy
