The is an original design created for a drawing machine I have been developing for the past year. It was originally built for a machine that used the Fast-Fourier Transform to listen to a selected Computer Music composition and capture the peaks of the signal. The peaks are then filtered into an algorithmic program that is based on the original theory and mathematical equations created for the selected composition. This design was commissioned for the 2nd International Csound Conference at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. More information about the process and other drawing machines can be found at the following link: http://christopherkonopka.com/works/machine-drawings-fft-machine An example of this FFT-based drawing machine, visually rendering a composition in real-time, can be found at the following youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WavGRB6rXYM Composition: Dr. Richard Boulanger - Trapped in Convert I used a few pieces from Thingiverse and remixed them a touch here and there. These original files to get an idea of the thought process going into this design can be found below. support for micro servo (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:91331) Servo direct connector (surface melt) - femur, thigh bone (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:51425)
