
I created all of these spur gears in SolidWorks for a project I am working on. For each one I created I made a 3D printed configuration for easy 3D printing rather than machining. There are 23 gears total with the following teeth. 12,13,14,14,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25, 26,27,28,30,32,35,36,38,40 All of the MOD 1.25 gears in this collection are: 8mm Thick 5mm Pilot hole 0.6mm Chamfer to top and bottom so no cleanup due to squish. All files checked in Simplify3D for errors and none were found. If they prove popular I will follow up with other MOD variations. I printed the 12 tooth and 24 tooth for testing at the following settings on my Wanhao D5S mini. Slicer used Simplify3D then trans-coded through ideaMaker. Material 3mm PLA Voltivo ExcelFil Coal Black. 0.4mm extrusion width. 2 outer shells 0.2mm layer height 8% infill 5 solid layers top and bottom. and also 0.4mm extrusion width. 2 outer shells 0.2mm layer height 100% infill 5 solid layers top and bottom. Both ways worked perfect with no cleanup needed. The 8% infill would be fine for light duty uses.
