Printed this, functions well, if you jigged your MG prusa with their wooden thingy, then you still have 200 in the x direction, and this design adds nearly 30mm in the z directioncurrently printing a giant tardis out of abs with it for one friend, then a second thor for my asian friend who goes all heavy breathy/sweaty palms at the mention of something from starcraft 2This thing makes the motor face in the Y axis, hopefully allowing another 20mm in print height... I have not tried it yet as i ran out of PLA and am learning to use ABS as i print it... also i made it all smooth etc as an idea for reinforcing because of the way skeinforge does perimeters, plus it's all smooth, anyway time will tellThis is sort of a derivative of some other guys thing, i will edit this when i find the link to his, he had cad files, so i had a peek, figured i could maybe do better and i dropped mine by 5mm in height, plus the xy twist, hope he does not get offendedoh the toggle tensioners, god how awesome are thoseFairly self explanitory? For those of you who dont have any blobs, or bits that need cleaning off, or holes that dont need to be at least flushed a little or gently retapped, well dammit i'm not that good. for the rest of you, the filament hole is 2mm, so for 1.75, personally i use a dremel to ream it before use, i imagine 3mm filament people could just as easily ream it with a 3.5mm bit.underneath the thing, in the cavity your hotend plugs into, i have designed a small support material thing that you'll just have to cut, or snap off, my bridges were not making the gap properly, and the lower outlet of that 2mm hole looked like port headlands on a good day
