Out with the old in with the new. I designed this Fan holder to fit a Noctua NF-A6x25. It's slightly bigger than the original but that's no problem at all and guess what ..... it works. The bigger noctua fan blows A LOT more air over the object. And with the integrated vibration pads the noise reduction is tremendous.Printing difficulty **...What you need:First check if your wire colors match the instructions. (Step 13)1)Take the Noctua Fan Holder an put the 4x Rubber Anti-Vibration Mounts all the way in the Fan Holder. Rubber Anti-Vibration Mounts are in the Noctua Fan Box (part nr.6)2)Put the Rubber Anti-Vibration Mounts through the hole of the Fan. Don't forget to put the Fan right side up. (see photo)3)Get rit of the old fan.4)Unscrew the long studding screws. (4x)5)Undo the coloured horseshoe under the tightner that locks the bowden tube.6)Place the Noctua Fan Holder between the aluminium plate and the wooden part 8B.7)Screw in the long studding screws holding the Noctua Fan Holder. (2x)8)Fill the other side with the washers until the aluminium plate is level with the wooden part 8B.9)Screw in the long studding screws.10)Push the bowden tube in deeper.11)Put the coloured horseshoe under the tightner to lock the bowden tube.12)Take the connector of the extension cable of the Ultimaker and pull it off its own pins.13)Put the Purple wire in the Red wire of the Noctua Fan connector. And the Blue wire in the Black wire of the Noctua Fan connector.14)Maybe you need to restart the Ultimaker otherwise is mide say Sleep on the Ulticonroller. And you're done.
