A handle or sleeve with switches to connect to an 18V Ryobi for launching model rocketsPrint the parts (one of each except 2X glue rings). Glue the sleeve to the clip plate and reinforce by gluing one ring at the bottom. Use some 1/4" flat brass bars (from local hardware store) to create contacts on the terminal clip. I soldered mine and then attached some wire to connect to the switch. Glue the completed terminal clip to the top of the sleeve and reinforce near the upper area with a second glue ring. This will keep force on the terminal contacts to maintain your connection to the Ryobi battery. Glue one side of the switch shell to the assembly and wire in your switch. I used a Cut-off Machine DPST NO AC 220V 380V 10A Trigger Switch FA2-10/2B from Amazon. Depending on your application, you may want a safety switch on the top. I wired a simple toggle switch from Radio Shack to the top as a safety and ran the wires out of the hole in the front to a power connector. Create a length of cable with alligator clips and enjoy launching your model rockets.
