This is a very simple low tension spool holder that uses a 3 inch flat roller bearing (thrust bearing) from all electronics and a cookie tin lid. The one I used holds a 1kg spool perfectly. Its easy to swap them out because the bearing has two parts. This means that you can quickly seat a larger lid and spool on the lower half of the bearing.
