I really like TheRuttmeister's unbranded version of CosmoWenman's Venus but still wanted a base, so I combined it with a modified rock by mrbug.I love printing figures using silver ABS (it tends to come out really rough and rocky-looking for me), so I wanted my version to look like it was emerging from stone.At 200mm, this is the tallest single object my MakerBot Cupcake has printed so far!Download venus_emerges_final_bin.stlMake sure that your 3D printer can reach 200mm. (I use Zydac's Z-axis extender.)Be prepared for a long print. (It took 6 hours 20 mins here.)Optional: You might consider combining the separate parts yourself. There was some weirdness with my final version where the feet inside the rock became hollow areas after slicing. Printed fine, but odd. (OpenSCAD choked on the figure so I had to use Meshmixer for the union.)
